Robert Kubis and Izabela Jaworska
Robert and Izabela started dancing in their teenage years in a dance school in their home town, Opole, in the south of Poland. What started as a hobby for the two of them, quickly became a passion.
With the help of best coaches in the country they quickly rose to the top of their field. As finalists both in Standard and 10 Dance National Championships they traveled all over Europe representing Poland in all major international competitions. In addition to their competitive career they were also actively involved in teaching dancing, primarily to children of all ages, and other dance couples.
After moving to England in 1991, they studied dancing for five years under the supervision of the best teachers in the world, e.g., Bobby and Bill Irvine, Peter Eggleton, Marcus and Karen Hilton and Luca and Lorain Baricchi, just to name a few. Also, in 1995 they were invited to represent Poland in a famous dance show "Come Dancing" televised in England by the British Broadcasting Company.
In 1997 they moved to Michigan, and since then they have been teaching as well as competing in national and international competitions.
Some of the honors they have achieved include:
- 4 times National Professional Championships semi finalists
- Winners of almost every Professional Rising Star title in the country
Andrzej Przybyl
Andrzej Przybyl is a native of Poland. He has been dancing with his twin sister for 14 years. During their competitive career in Poland they achieved many top honors:
- Finalists in 10 Dance Polish Championships
- 3rd place in Academic Championships
- 4 time winners of Regional Championships
They traveled across Europe representing Poland in many international competitions in Russia, Germany, England, Italy and Holland.
In August 2002 they came to the United States and soon afterwards established themselves as one of the top Latin couples. Some of their most recent accomplishments are:
- Winners of Professional Rising Star category at the Ohio Star Ball, Holiday Classics, Heritage Dance Classic and Montreal Dancesport Championships
- 3rd place in Professional Rising Star at the National Championships in California
- Quarter finalists in Open Professional Latin in Blackpool
Roger Thaxton and Carie Garrity
Roger and Carie are amateur USA Dancesport competitors who compete nationally and internationally. They currently are 2007, 2008, and 2009 Senior III Championship National Finalists, and 2009 United States Dance Championship winner in the Grand Senior Division. Roger, dancing Pro/Am, won the United States National Dance Championship Gentlemen's Standard twice, in 2008 and 2009.
Because of their love and interest in dance, and realizing the overall health benefits and enjoyment of dance, they started teaching a number of years ago. They are accomplished instructors of all ages in beginning and intermediate American and International styles of dance. They are available for private and group lessons, as well as wedding packages and dance demonstrations.
Natalia Vail
Natalia has been a Dance Instructor for more than ten years with a background primarily in ballet instruction from the Russian Academy of Dance. After teaching for several years in Russia, she moved to Toronto, Canada, and opened a dance studio that offered dance classes to children, adults, and senior citizens. Natalia enjoyed professional Dance Performances in Moscow, England, Canada and USA. She had an opportunity to work with top dance coaches & ballroom champions.
Now, she brings her dance expertise to us. She uses a variety of dance forms including classical ballet and modern dance to get the body moments flowing to promote a constant flow, which is seen in ballroom dancing: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Salsa, Bachata and more. Natalia teaches a variety of styles in both private and group lessons, specializing in couples coaching, wedding dance, father-daughter dance and more. You'll look good to others as they watch you dance, take pride in knowing that your partner enjoys dancing with you, and – most importantly – feel great about yourself as you dance.
